Needed to remodel an outdated, dysfunctional, unattractive kitchen with a minimal budget!
Save money by reusing items that work-their wood cabinetry. Added value and visual appeal by removing existing linoleum flooring and adding hardwood. Installed additional cabinetry, lighting and appliances.
Don’t try to ‘match’ new and old pre-finished wood-it is nearly impossible. Instead, select a complimentary color, or, sand and refinish the old wood to match the new wood, or finish the new wood to match the old wood.
The family dog, Zora, enjoyed helping the crew remodel the kitchen. She sat with them, most all day, even through the noise of the saws! Her family had taught her to ‘smile’ by raising her lips, and she could scare the crew members by ‘smiling’ and showing her teeth while they ate lunch (and often got a French fry as reward!)
